WEBSITE ANALYTICS SETUP
See What's Happening on Your Website .
After your website launches, you need to know how visitors find you, which pages they visit, and whether they take action. Website analytics setup is an optional add-on that gives you a clear picture of your site's traffic, search performance, and basic conversion activity right from day one.
KaboomWebDesign can configure Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console for your website, submit your sitemap, verify site ownership, and set up basic conversion events so your data is ready when you need it.
Analytics Add-Ons Available for Your Website Project
These analytics services can be added to a new website project or discussed separately. Each item is an optional configuration — not a default inclusion. Ask about adding them when you book your project call.
Google Analytics 4 Setup
Create or connect a GA4 property, add the tracking tag to your website, and configure the basic account and data-stream settings.
Google Search Console Setup
Add and verify your website in Google Search Console so Google can report on search queries, impressions, clicks, and crawl activity.
Website Ownership Verification
Verify ownership of your website domain or URL prefix in Google's tools so your property is linked and ready to use.
XML Sitemap Submission
Submit your website's XML sitemap to Google Search Console to help Google discover and index your pages more efficiently.
Basic Conversion-Event Setup
Configure selected GA4 events — such as form submissions or button clicks — so you can see when visitors take key actions on your site.
Search-Performance Configuration
Connect your Search Console property to your GA4 account and review initial search-performance data to confirm the integration is working.
Analytics Property Configuration
Review and organize GA4 property settings, data-stream configuration, and basic account structure for accurate, accessible reporting.
Basic Reporting Setup
Set up initial GA4 reports or explore the default reporting interface so you know where to find traffic, engagement, and conversion data after launch.
GA4 vs. Google Search Console — What's the Difference?
Both tools come from Google and both help you understand your website — but they measure different things. Here's a plain-language breakdown of what each one does.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
GA4 tracks what visitors do on your website. It measures page views, session duration, scroll depth, button clicks, form submissions, and other engagement signals. GA4 helps you understand how people behave after they land on your site.
• Traffic volume and sources (organic search, direct, referral)
• Pages visited and time spent
• Devices and browsers used
• Conversion events you configure
Google Search Console
Google Search Console tracks how your website appears in Google Search. It shows which search queries brought impressions and clicks to your site, which pages Google has indexed, any crawl errors, and your XML sitemap status.
• Search queries users typed before visiting
• Impressions, clicks, and average position in search results
• Pages Google has indexed or excluded
• Crawl errors and coverage issues
Using both tools together gives you a more complete picture — GA4 shows visitor behavior on your site, and Search Console shows how your site performs in Google Search before visitors arrive.
What to Know Before Adding Analytics
Analytics Setup Depends on Your Platform and Account Access
KaboomWebDesign can configure Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console for websites on Kaboomasite and supported third-party platforms. Setup requires access to your Google account, your domain settings, and your website platform. If those aren't available, setup may be limited or delayed.
IMPORTANT NOTE
No Analytics Setup Guarantees Complete Data Collection
Analytics configurations depend on the selected platform, account access, browser consent settings, ad blockers, cookie policies, third-party scripts, and implementation requirements. No analytics setup can guarantee complete data collection in every circumstance.
This Is Basic Configuration — Not Ongoing Analytics Management
The analytics add-ons described here cover initial setup, verification, sitemap submission, and basic conversion-event configuration. This is not ongoing analytics consulting, custom data engineering, advanced tracking audits, or guaranteed reporting accuracy.
If your business needs deeper analytics support, advanced tracking strategy, or ongoing data analysis, contact KaboomWebDesign to discuss your requirements.
